Privacy policy

vzlmr.com ("we") runs this invitation service. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
- Details you type into an invitation: names (for example the couple, parents or the baby), event date and time, venue name and address, map links, and contact names and phone numbers.
- Your email address, to send your invitation links and payment confirmation.
- A song you upload, and the fact that you confirmed you have the right to use it.
- Payment records from our payment provider (Billplz): bill reference, amount and status. We never see or store your card or online banking details.
- Basic technical logs (such as IP address) to prevent abuse and keep the service running.
How we use it
- To build, show and host your invitation, and to email you your public link and private manage link.
- To process payment and handle support requests or refunds.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see your invitation
- Anyone who has your invitation link can see everything on it, including names, address and phone numbers. Share it only with people you want to invite.
- Invitation pages are hidden from search engines, but we cannot stop guests from sharing the link further.
- Drafts are not public. They can only be opened in the browser that created them.
Service providers
- We use Supabase (database and file storage), Google Cloud (hosting, in Singapore), Billplz (payments) and Resend (email). They process data on our behalf and may store it outside Malaysia.
How long we keep it
- Unpaid drafts are deleted after 30 days without changes, together with uploaded songs.
- Published invitations stay online until 30 days after the event date. [State how long you keep them after that, e.g. deleted after 12 months.]
- Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting.
Your rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. You can correct invitation details yourself from your manage link until the event date.
